The company was incorporated in Kenya following a management buy-out of the business activities in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda of H.P. Gauff Ingenieure GmbH & Co. KG – JBG, a German multidisciplinary
engineering company who had worked in East and Southern Africa permanently for more than 50 years.
In order to reflect the legacy of H.P. Gauff Ingenieure across the region, the new company was called Gauff Consultants Africa Ltd.

Building on the legacy of H.P. Gauff Ingenieure in East Africa – Gauff Consultants Africa Ltd has acquired the projects, assets, equipment, employees, expertise and project references of H.P. Gauff Ingenieure in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda, and exhibits the same capability and commitment to delivering top quality engineering consultancy services for and from within Africa. Gauff Consultants Africa is the legitimate and proud successor of H.P. Gauff Ingenieure in the East Africa Region.
